Mizoram gets 163 more refugees from Bangladesh

163 refugees from 41 families entered Mautlang village in Lawngtlai district from Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh due to clashes between the Bangladesh Army and Kuki-Chin

AIZAWL: At least 163 more refugees belonging to 41 families from Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh entered Mautlang village in Lawngtlai district on Friday. This village lies on the Mizoram-Bangladesh-Myanmar trijunction.
The refugees, belonging to the Bawm community which identifies itself as Kuki-Chins, fled Bangladesh due to continued violent clashes between the Bangladesh Army and the Kuki-Chin National Army (KNA) in Chittagong Hill Tracts.
